You write your companion's backstory, key memories, response style and a whole lot more, and it rewards the effort with one of the most consistent personalities in the category. People who've been burned by Replika's rule changes tend to end up here, because Kindroid has been openly adult-friendly from day one.
It's more than text. There are voice calls, selfies and short video selfies, group chats with several companions, and a social feed where people share their creations. Avatar Boost trains on a handful of images to keep her looking the same. The terms say those images have to be yours to use, which keeps real people out of it on paper, though it's on you to play fair.
The free tier is one of the more honest ones going: unlimited text on the Lite model, two companion slots and a three-day trial of the paid experience. Shared posts go through an adult-content filter, and private chats don't.
